This lead is used to connect to your action camera. You can still get audio to your video without the lead, just needs to be merged in post production. Many prefer to have the audio and video all on the camera to make video editing and sharing a bit easier.
THIS LEAD IS SOLDER INTO THE CIRCUIT BOARD AND NEEDS TO BE ADDED BY THE MANUFACTURER.
Note: Not all action cameras have a 3.5mm input connector and may require an adapter from your cameras manufacturer.
